GENIX ATELIER

1. Consultation

• In-person consultations are by appointment in Agbor, Delta State, Nigeria. The exact studio details are shared once your appointment is confirmed.
• Virtual consultations hold on Google Meet.
• Consultations are held on Tuesdays and Saturdays, 12 noon to 4pm.
• In your consultation, we talk through your vision, the design details you want and your inspiration, then take your measurements.
• Consultations may be recorded so we can capture your measurements and design details accurately. We will tell you before we begin recording, and you may opt out.
• The consultation fee is non-refundable and payable before your session.
• Your consultation fee covers your consultation, measurements and design sketch. It is not deducted from your order total.
• We understand that things come up. If you need to reschedule, please let us know at least 24 hours before your appointment and we will move you to another available day, once at no charge. If you miss your appointment without letting us know, your consultation fee is forfeited and a new booking will be required. In genuine emergencies, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.

2. Measurements

• In person: Please wear only form-fitting clothing and a firm bra.
• Virtual: You will need an assistant, a measuring tape, a pen and paper, and the same form-fitting clothing and firm bra. We will guide you on the call.
• If you take your own measurements, please double-check them. We cannot be held responsible for an outfit that does not fit because of incorrect measurements supplied to us.
• If your body measurements change after your consultation, please tell us straight away. Alterations needed because of changes we were not told about will be charged.

3. After your consultation

• You will receive your design sketch and invoice within 5 days of your consultation.
• We begin your order once you have paid a deposit of 80% of the total cost. Your timeline starts from the day the deposit is confirmed.
• Changes to the approved design after the sketch stage may attract additional fees and extend your timeline.
• Fabric colours can look different on screens and in photos, so small differences from swatches or previews are normal.
• If you supply your own fabric or materials, please deliver them by the date we agree. We cannot be held responsible for how client-supplied materials behave or wear.

4. Timelines

• Bridal, prom and red carpet outfits: 12 weeks.
• All other outfits: 6 weeks.
• Timelines are counted from the date your deposit is confirmed. They cover the making of your outfit and do not include delivery time.
• If you need your outfit sooner, we can offer express production, subject to availability. The express fee is quoted per order.
• Completed outfits must be collected within 30 days of being notified that they are ready, after which storage fees may apply.
• We work hard to deliver on time. If something outside our control affects your timeline, we will tell you as early as possible.

5. Fittings

• Fittings are by appointment only in Agbor, Delta State, on Wednesdays and Fridays, 12 noon to 4pm.
• Please bring the shoes you will wear with your outfit.
• Fittings are one-on-one. If you would like to bring someone, please ask us first.
• Long-distance clients: We can have a model with measurements close to yours wear the outfit and record fitting videos for you to review and approve. This is optional but highly recommended.
• Design changes requested once fittings begin may be charged.
• Alterations are free of charge if requested within 2 weeks of delivery.

6. Payments

Pay only to our official account below. If anyone gives you different payment details, confirm with us on WhatsApp or Instagram first.

• International clients can request other modes of payment.
• International clients are responsible for shipping fees and customs duties.
• Your remaining balance and any delivery cost must be cleared before we hand over or ship your outfit.
• Because every outfit is made specially for you, all payments, including consultation fees and deposits, are non-refundable.

7. D-Day styling

• GENIX ATELIER offers D-Day styling for outfits designed and made by us.
• What it includes: a styling call before the event, dressing you on the day, handling your train, touch-ups, outfit changes, and coverage through your photos, reception or event.
• Pricing depends on the event location and is subject to change. Please contact us for a quote.
• Travel: For events outside Agbor, the client covers transportation and accommodation for our team, paid before travel is confirmed.
• A deposit is required to secure your date. The amount depends on the event location, the number of outfits and the scope of styling, and is confirmed in your quote. Bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.
• Please confirm the venue address, arrival time and a contact person at least 3 days before the event.

8. Content creation

We may photograph or film parts of your consultation, fittings or event for our social media. If you would rather not appear, just tell us before your session.

9. Intellectual property

All designs, sketches and styling concepts created by GENIX ATELIER remain our intellectual property. Please do not share them with other designers or stylists, or use them to have similar pieces made elsewhere.
